Peri Peri, in sicilian dialect, literally means “foot foot”, whose wider meaning is “to wander".
This is what me and the four protagonists of this story, Peppe, Alex, Cesare and Paolo, did for a week, going “Peri Peri” around Sicily aboard a camper, in some of the most beautiful and yet unknown places of the island.
What is born from that journey is a cross-media project under the form of a short documentary and a photographic visual story
The two projects are not stand alone nor they recount the same story, but they are complementary:
While the documentary explores the reasons why the guys practice slackline and why they embrace the slacklife, the visual essay is the story of the travel seen through my eyes, my experience and, mostly, through my camera.
